  • Understand the impact of glucocorticoids on blood glucose levels: Recognize how glucocorticoids (GCs) can lead to steroid-induced hyperglycemia (SIHG) and its implications for patients

  • Understand the impact of steroid medications on blood glucose levels: Recognize how different types of steroids and their administration methods affect blood glucose.

  • Monitor blood glucose levels effectively: Learn the importance of frequent monitoring and how to adjust diabetes management accordingly.

  • Manage diabetes while on steroid medication: Get guidance on adjusting diabetes medication and insulin doses

  • Educate patients and healthcare providers: Provide information on safe steroid use and diabetes management.
