- Define whole plant foods and offer a brief history of lifestyle medicine
- Discuss three key healthy diets including whole food/plant-based, Mediterranean, and DASH
- Describe what is known and what is unclear regarding the role of whole food, plant-based nutrition in management of type 2 diabetes
- Restate practical approaches to increasing whole plant foods even among patients not interested in vegetarianism, as well as implementing and evaluating real-world programming.
