At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Discuss environmental chemicals and the sources of exposure
- Summarize the evidence linking exposure to these chemicals and health outcomes
- Classify ways to reduce exposure and the evidence for the role of positive health behaviors in modifying exposure
- Describe the common sources of PFAS contamination and PFAS contamination in the Geisinger community
- Examine the role of preventive care in education and risk reduction
