Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  • Describe the stages of blood pressure control according to the 2025 ACC/AHA Hypertension guidelines.
  • Name the blood pressure target for maximal risk reduction per the 2025 ACC/AHA Hypertension guidelines and which patients need immediate antihypertensive therapy.
  • List the concept behind each letter of MAP BP and define how these concepts apply in the care of our patients.
