Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:
- Evaluate the initiation, selection, and monitoring of antiretroviral therapy (ART), considering clinical criteria and patient-specific factors.
- Identify common and clinically significant drug-drug interactions between ART agents and other medications, including anticoagulants, psychotropics, and antimicrobials.
- Recognize and anticipate adverse effects associated with commonly prescribed ART regimens.
