At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

1. Compare current guideline-recommended treatment regimens for drug-susceptible and drug-resistant tuberculosis, including shortened treatment options.

2. Identify clinically significant adverse effects, drug-drug interactions, and monitoring parameters associated with commonly used tuberculosis therapies.

3. Apply patient specific factors, including drug susceptibility, comorbidities, organ function, and concomitant medications, to select and optimize an appropriate tuberculosis treatment regimen.
