At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:

• Detect abnormal cardiac wave forms/rhythms, and identify which ones require immediate intervention
• Develop reading skills of Orthopedic plain films, and detect fractures, dislocations, and infectious findings
• Demonstrates systematic approach to chest film interpretation and detecting basic abnormalities affecting patient management
• Describe the basic approach to evaluating dizziness and transient loss of consciousness, and describe the components of a screening neurological exam
• Complete competence in the application of stabilization devices/practice sterile technique and recognize anatomic sites for needle penetration of major joints and bursae
• Use sterile technique in delivery of local anesthesia/Illustrate, proper suture placement, knots, proper incision, and drainage techniques
