Series Overview

Death review of all trauma deaths within the last 90 days. Discussion to include opportunity for improvement with applicable tracking, potential plan, policy development/revision and/or intervention to improve care delivery/outcomes.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for the Trauma Medical Director, the Trauma Program Manager, Trauma Surgeons, Trauma Practitioners, and Trauma Coordinators. The following specialty liaison physicians will also be present for the meeting: Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Anesthesia, Emergency Department, Radiology and any other specialty service we ask to be there on a case-by-case basis if it is pertinent to the review. Other learner groups such as the Emergency Department and the Pediatric Trauma and Blood Bank support staff would also benefit from this education.
