Series Overview
Lumbar spinal stenosis with neurogenic claudication is a common cause for both pain and functional impairment in the elderly. Many have trialed conservative care without prolonged relief. Many times, these patients have significant cardiopulmonary comorbidities that make them high risk surgical candidates. The minimally invasive lumbar decompression (MILD) procedure is an outpatient, percutaneous option for patients with this debilitating condition.
