Learning Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:

  • Discover what the ROX index is and what it means
  • Identify how the ROX index can be used to prevent reintubation of COVID 19 patients 
  • Discuss the potential for this index to be used for other patients who are mechanically ventilated
