• Recall Adult Advanced Life Support algorithms and key medications used.  
• Evaluate the role of sodium bicarbonate for in-hospital cardiac arrest (IHCA) with emerging literature.
• Describe how the BIHCA trial may influence pharmacist recommendations for sodium bicarbonate use during IHCA, including when use may still be clinically appropriate.
