At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to:

  1. identify patients with normal pressure hydrocephalus who can benefit from shunt surgery
  2. correctly diagnose idiopathic intracranial hypertension
  3. recognize CSF volume depletion syndromes
  4. find and treat spontaneous spinal CSF leaks and fistulas
