At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  • Review and reflect on historical and current practices for evaluation of nutritional deficiencies in pediatric population
  • Diagnose and distinguish typical micronutrient deficiencies and their presentations
  • Identify ASD and ARFID and how these practices can lead to deficiencies
  • Highlight what resources are available for prevention and treatment and understand challenges in enacting treatment
