At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  1. Describe example resources that map proteins to biological functions, medications, and disease associations.
  2. Explain how protein functions can be integrated to prioritize proteins and medications for a selected disease.
  3. Summarize examples of drug repositioning candidates predicted to be clinically useful, including candidates for sarcoidosis and Alzheimer’s disease.
