Describe how glucose absorption from peritoneal dialysis solutions can be predicted and estimated, and how this information can be used to optimize diabetic management and improve glycemic control in patients with diabetes on peritoneal dialysis.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of peritoneal dialysis modality, including its intricacies, benefits, and challenges, and how it impacts diabetic management, in order to provide informed and effective diabetes education and support to patients with diabetes on peritoneal dialysis.
To provide healthcare providers with practical strategies and best practices for managing diabetes in patients on dialysis, including glucose monitoring, medication management, and collaboration between nephrologists and diabetes providers.
