Series Overview

Approximately 9 times a year, Dermatologists and dermatology providers share teaching cases that illustrate diagnostic or therapeutic pearls, current research, and clinical reviews (including clinical guidelines). In addition, outside expert clinicians give didactic lectures that review and expand upon a broad array of topics to keep providers up to date.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for academic and private practice dermatologists, physicians in other specialties, physician assistants, fellows, and residents. Other learner groups such as medical students would also benefit from this education.

Accreditation 

In support of improving patient care, Geisinger College of Health Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Geisinger College of Health Sciences designates this live activity for a maximum of 5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the educational activity.

Geisinger College of Health Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
