Series Overview

As we continue and grow the Musculoskeletal Institute and the Orthopedic Urgent Care, it becomes increasingly more important that the physicians and advanced practitioners develop and grow as partners in patient care. To best accomplish this, we all need to better understand how to evaluate and treat patients using the best and most up-to-date practices in adult and pediatric orthopedic/sports medicine. Through this recurring lecture series, physicians, residents, advanced practitioners, and members of the nursing staff will discuss and common orthopedic topics, imaging, triage, and treatment methods. Those that attend this lecture series on a regular basis will develop a more in depth and well-rounded understanding of orthopedic patient evaluation and care. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians (allopathic and osteopathic), physician assistants, nurses all within the Musculoskeletal Institute, which includes PMR, Sports medicine, Pediatric Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery. Other learner groups such as Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine providers and staff.
