Series Overview

Monthly educational program that will focus on education designed to improve GI APP knowledge and clinical outcomes in GI patients. The program is designed as a collaborative learning opportunity for all GI APPs in the Geisinger System. RNs, pharmacists may also attend and obtain credit.

Target Audience

This course is designed for GI APPs, nurses and pharmacists. Other learner groups such as medical assistants and LPNs working in the GI clinics would also benefit from this education.

Accreditation 

In support of improving patient care, Geisinger College of Health Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
