Series Overview

The ECMO Quarterly Meeting allows healthcare professionals involved in ECMO therapy to stay updated on the latest advancements, share best practices, and discuss challenging cases with experienced colleagues. This will allow learners to expand their knowledge, improve patient outcomes, and review the latest research in relation to each case discussion.

Target Audience

This activity is designed for Physicians (allopathic and osteopathic), Physician Assistants, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Social Workers. Other learner groups such as Fellows and medical students who might be interested in pursuing cardiology or critical care would also benefit from this education.

Accreditation 

In support of improving patient care, Geisinger College of Health Sciences is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

 

The Geisinger College of Health Sciences is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. 

 

As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Geisinger College of Health Sciences is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Worker Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.0 clinical continuing education credits.

Geisinger College of Health Sciences has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
