Learning Objectives: 

Improve awareness of common pediatric injury patterns 

Define operative and non-operative criteria

Increase competency of interpretation of pediatric radiographs 

 

At the conclusion of this session, the participant should be able to: 

  • Comfortably identify a pediatric upper extremity fracture from x-ray 
  • Appropriately triage and immobilize humerus, elbow, forearm, wrist and hand fractures
