Series Overview
This course is a PTSF requirement for Trauma Accreditation. The educational case review is to identify key opportunities for improvement and create action plans that enhance patient outcomes.
 
Target Audience
This course is designed for trauma physicians, advanced practitioners, psychologists and nurses.
Other learner groups such as physicians in orthopedic surgery, anesthesia, emergency department, radiology and any other specialty service we ask to be there on a case-by case basis would also benefit from this course.

Accreditation 
In support of improving patient care, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

 

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
